Restorative Practice Training at Collier

Restorative Practice Training at Collier

Last week, Collier social workers and staff participated in a two-day Restorative Practices training. This training equipped staff with the tools to nurture positive community building and high-quality, trauma-free relationships within Collier's community. By focusing on repairing harm done rather than enforcing punitive consequences, we aim to support and strengthen connections among students and staff.

Embracing restorative practices is a holistic approach, integrated into our daily operations to establish effective classroom routines and strong relationships. Through learning experiences like this, our supportive and connected school environment can continue to grow and thrive. Thank you, Jo Ann and Pat from Positive School Climate, for the insightful and informative training!
